AMERICAN IDOLS:  Exposing America’s Other Idols will be the topic for our fourteenth annual Pastors Conference.  Addressing the issues will be Pastor Douglas Wilson, Dr. Robert Maddox, Pastor Duane Garner, Pastor John Barach, and Pastor Steve Wilkins.

Pastor Wilson is author of countless books, a noted lecturer for Classical Christian education, a gifted speaker for biblical exhortations, and senior pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, ID. Dr. Maddox is a local physician with many years of practical experience and training.  He has done short-term mission work in Peru, Mexico, and Nicaragua and serves as a ruling elder at Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Church.    Pastor Barach, currently pastoring Covenant Presbyterian in Sulphur, LA., has pastored churches in the northwest and Canada.  Pastor Garner, after working as a businessman, decided to pursue ministerial training and is currently the Associate Pastor of Auburn Avenue Presbyterian. 

In providing conferences such as these, it is hoped that it will be a time for educating pastors, church officers, and laymen in subjects of vital and critical need in our church and culture today.  Time for discussions is of importance so that it can be iron sharpening iron.  We hope to be equipping the saints to do the work to change our world.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.  As usual, there will be times for discussion, questions and answers, book tables, and plenty of free time for informal fellowship. We believe this will be a blessed time of instruction, refreshment, and encouragement.

Registration will begin Monday evening, January 9, at 6:00 with the first session starting at 7:00. The conference will again conclude at noon on Wednesday, January 11. Early registration is $100 per person prior to December 1st.  Registration after that date is $150. Pastors’ wives may attend the conference free of charge. Other family members, including the wives of non-pastors, may register for $50 each. Please remember that there will be no nursery provided.
